Chelsea Mansion, London, UK (Moisture and low temperature system)
London Chelsea "Cadogan Place" high-end apartment group, adjacent to the Thames, the perennial air humidity ≥80%, the minimum temperature in winter -5℃, need to deal with the insulation protection of the wire in the humid environment. In the Chelsea mansion, blue wires are evenly routed along the underfloor heating pipes, and their moisture-proof design avoids bulging insulation in humid environments. Even if the floor heating runs for 24 hours in winter, the wires still maintain stable conductive performance to ensure the constant temperature and comfort of the whole house.
Technical Solutions:
- Product: moisture resistant and low temperature wire (color insulation + tinned copper conductor).
- Technical advantages:
- The insulation layer is made of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) with water absorption ≤0.01% (in accordance with IEC 60811-1-1) to avoid insulation failure caused by condensation.
- Conductor surface tinning process (coating thickness ≥3μm), electrochemical corrosion resistance increased by 2 times, adapt to London acid rain environment.
- Temperature range -40℃~+90℃, through the CE certification (low pressure directive LVD 2014/35/EU), to meet the long-term low temperature operation requirements of the floor heating system.
